I contemplate the clients brief, the patron themselves and the space the art will inhabit.
My practice is a process-driven dialogue with paint whereby I facilitate the expression of the medium. Each work, therefore, evolves as a unique expression, within the framework of a guided conversation. I imagine the aspect of spontaneity in my work might evoke something that begins the process for the client too?
Art in situ allows me to draw on my varied creative experiences: art-making, curation and design. My background in art and interior architectural design includes 10 years as owner-operator of interior design studio Code Orange Design and Code Red Art Gallery in Claremont.
