ART SERIES
Like the changing seasons, the circle represents the cyclic nature of our universe. This artwork exists where nature and practice intertwine and will be observed and documented as an ongoing project over the seasons.
For millions of years fire has been part of the Australian landscape. As a result of this prolonged association with fire, many Australian ecosystems have developed specialised relationships with the bushfire phenomenon.
Much of our flora and fauna have evolved to not only survive fire but depend on it for their persistence.
However the effects of climate change could trigger further scorching fire seasons bringing hotter and drier conditions.
